What does it mean to place a "Pre-Order"?
It means you are reserving a piece before the production run is finished, and your order is what funds that run.
This is how we make things in small, controlled quantities instead of guessing at demand. You pay at checkout, your piece is made for you in Lagos, and it ships by September 26. We say this upfront rather than in the fine print, because that's the kind of brand this is.
Where is Ardnkem made?
Lagos, Nigeria. Every piece.
The fabrics are sourced from Lagos markets, and the cutting, sewing, beading, and finishing all happen there. The brand is based in United states and ships from the United States.
When will my pre-order ship?
Every piece in the founding collection ships by October 1, 2026.
You'll receive a tracking number by email the day your order leaves us. We'll also share production updates along the way, so you're never wondering where your piece is.
If anything changes with that date, we will contact you before it not after.
Can I cancel or modify my pre-order?
You can change your size or shipping address up to [48 hours / 7 days] after ordering just email us and we'll take care of it.
Because pieces are made to order in small runs, we can't cancel an order once production has started on it. But once your piece arrives, you have 14 days to decide it's right for you. Full details on our Refund Policy page.
How should I care for my Jacquard and Brocade piece
Our signature metallic jacquard and organic brocade fabrics are premium and highly delicate. To maintain their structural integrity, luster, and quality, we strictly require "Dry Clean Only." Please do not machine wash or iron these garments.
Two things to know about metallic brocade, it can snag, so store it away from anything with hooks or velcro, and it should never go in a tumble dryer. Iron on low, on the reverse side, with a cloth between the iron and the fabric.
Treated well, these pieces will outlast most of your wardrobe.
Can I return my piece?
Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to return an unworn piece with the tags still attached. Full details on our Refund Policy page.
How do I know which size to choose?
Every product page includes a full size guide with garment measurements — bust, waist, hip, and length — so you can compare against a piece you already own and love.
Our pieces are structured and cut close through the body. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up.
